Stage 6 Duraflex CB Base – Design, material, and the construction process result in a strength to weight ratio never before achieved in a snowboard binding. Designed by Travis Rice
Stage 6 Base – Duraflex CB Nylon integrated with super cushioned Vaporlite 3.0 Bushings bring the next generation of Union to the forefront. Using "microfused injection," which focuses the nylon injection entry point around the disk ring where strength is most crucial, resulting in the lightest/strongest base to date.
Vaporlite 3.0 Bushing – The next generation of Union bushings, the all new 3.0 takes Union's True Flex philosophy to the next level. Multi-layered design provides a natural 3° canting and season long comfort.
Extruded 3D Aluminum Heelcups – The rigidity and strength of Extruded Aluminum act like a roll cage on a race car - stiffening the entire chassis. The male/female connection with the base provides a seamless response.

Forged Hybrid Highbacks – By combining Forged Carbon and glass injected nylon, Union's created a highback that allows flexibility for medial-lateral rotation while preserving a direct connection for edge to edge control. Power where you need it and the freedom to ride the way you want.
Forged Hybrid Beam – The highback perimeters allow the flex needed to dial in your style, while the centralized forged carbon beam preserves lossless power into the board.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
