B.F.C. stands for Built for Comfort, and there's no doubt these are a huge step up from the frozen foot lockers you've been using for 20 years. With their medium flex and Powerfuse SpYne, the K2 B.F.C. 100 Heat Ski Boots command your skis with power and precision but really pack a punch in the 'cush' department. The integrated Therm-ic heated liner pulses heat for up to 19 hours so you can say sayonara to icy toes, while the high volume 103 mm last ensures hot spots and pressure points never bother you again.
Last: 103 mm – A roomy forefoot and relaxed instep for all-day comfort, ideal for recreational skiers and/or skiers with wide feet.
Hands Free Entry – Dual material overlap for intuitive and easy hands-free exit and entry.
Flex: 100 – A medium to stiff flex most suitable for intermediates and lightweight experts.
Cush Fit Liner – The combination of standard open and closed cell EVA foam provides heat moldable comfort around your foot and precise control at the cuff. Lasted design, heat-moldable foam at ankle pockets, Power Collar.
Therm-ic Heated Liners – Integrated heating system to keep your feet warm on cold days. Increases mobility and performance of foot muscles. Three heat settings provide warmth from 4 to 19 hours. Fully charges in 6 to 7 hours with a USB cable.
PowerFuse SpYne – A rear co-injected “Y” shaped design that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock, the PowerFuse SpYne maximizes fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness for sustained performance and responsiveness in all terrain. Because of the SpYne, K2 is able to optimize materials in the cuff and shell, eliminating excessive vibrations in rough terrain.
Natural Stance / Natural Stride – Supportive flex profile and design for a natural stance when standing in line at the ticket office, tram or chairlift and a natural stride when walking through the parking lot, trudging up the stairs or across the village.
Cuff Alignment – Dual +/- 1°
Après Mode – Unlocks the upper cuff from the lower shell for comfort and convenience while walking from car to lift to après and beyond, while still allowing to lock down for all-mountain performance.
40mm Velcro Powerstrap
Replaceable Outsoles – Dual-injected soft and hard TPU for secure footing and increased life of the boots.
GripWalk® Outsoles Available Separately – New removable and interchangeable ISO 9523 alpine rockered soles for selected K2 boots collaberatively designed to work with Marker's Grip Walk Binding system for better grip and added comfort when walking and standing in boots, but doesn't compromise the power transmission and release function between the boot and binding when skiing.
