The Burton Family Tree Anti-Social Splitboard is touted as the easiest to ride splitboard out. Not only does it open up the door to endless backcountry adventures, but it also means access to some of the most surreal, surfy pow turns that you've ever experienced. No longer will you be staying up late on Friday night trying desperately to have a social life, instead you'll be up at the crack of dawn bagging new lines on a slew of serene, Insta-worthy tours. Pre-mounted with Channel-compatible pucks, the Burton Family Tree Anti-Social Snowboard is ready for adventure -- sorry friends...
Directional Camber – A rockered nose encourages float and playfulness. The camber underfoot carries momentum and stability through sharp turns, variable conditions, and terrains.
Directional Flex – This flex features increased pop in the tail and a resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
Directional – The classic snowboard shape, designed to be ridden with a slightly longer nose than tail to concentrate pop in the tail while still giving you plenty of float, flow, and control to rip any terrain or condition.
12mm Taper – A tapered shape means the nose is wider than the tail, promoting smooth turn entry and exit, stability at speed, and enhanced deep snow flotation.
Balanced Freeride Geometry – Twin or directional is the age-old question for creative rippers like Terje. Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the debate with setback camber and a sidecut that is centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base. On edge, it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.
Pro-Tip™ – A tapered tip and tail thickness reduces swing weight for easier mobility.
FSC™ Certified Super Fly II™ 700G Splitboard Core – Strong and lightweight woods target specific areas of the core to provide pop, strength and reduce weight. FSC™ certification ensures that the wood products are harvested from well-managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
Squeezebox – Burton's most versatile Squeezebox profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate.
Fiberglass Triax™ – This laminate gives the board an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. The result is a board that remains smooth and stable.
Recycled Sintered WFO – All Family Tree models feature Sintered WFO bases made with recycled industrial materials that would otherwise be incinerated.
Artist – Dean Blotto Gray
Super Sap® Epoxy – A resin formulated with bio-based materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional all-petroleum-based epoxies. Less oil consumption means even less of a carbon footprint per board.
Split Channel – Go ahead and get picky with your splitboarding stance, and continue to fine-tune it as the season unfolds. With the Split Channel, you get the strongest, fastest, easiest, and most adjustable mounting system ever offered on a splitboard. The days of compromise are officially over. All Burton splitboards with the Split Channel come with pucks pre-mounted for easy setup.

When you're preparing to drop in on an narrow, icey, 48° backcountry chute that opens up into a gloriously deep, untouched bowl, you'll be thankful to have the state of the art Burton Hitchhiker Splitboard Bindings. Designed in conjunction with the splitboarding godfathers at Spark R&D, the Hitchhiker Splitboard Bindings were built to climb every bit as well as they descend. The new Tesla T1 baseplate simplifies things with a single wire ramp adjustment that offers both 12° and 18° climb heights. When the time comes to descend, the Hitchhiker's Double Take Buckles cinch up quickly, giving you first dibs for dropping in. For top-level riders looking to explore further into the backcountry, hitch a ride on the Burton Hitchhiker Splitboard Bindings -- you won't be disappointed. *See compatibility info below.*
Spark R&D Tesla T1 Single Wire Baseplate – A single fatty wire built into the baseplate switches easily from stowed, to low (12°), to high (18°) climbing positions and back again while touring. Eliminating the second wire saves weight and fiddle time.
Hammockstrap™ – Reactstrap roots in a stitchless construction for ultra-response with minimal materials. The addition of a nylon cross spine equals a more direct connection with the board.
Flex Slider – Makes the ankle straps move out of the way so you can step into the binding without obstruction. Burton's Flex Slider has a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Supergrip Capstrap™ – This minimalist design merges two materials into one technologically advanced toe strap. A firmer material in the spine provides a supportive and lightweight skeleton, while a softer over-molded material improves boot wrap and comfort.
Double Take Buckles w/ Insta-Click – Be the first to drop in with the rapid ratcheting of Burton's Double Take Buckles. Helical teeth and "Insta-Click" engagement combine for increased torque per crank, faster uptake, and fewer cranks to tightness. The result: vastly improved strength, speed, and ease-of-use.
True OTT Hi-Back Padding – Wrapping the upper portion of the hi-back with padding eliminates pesky pressure points.
Burton-Designed Single-Component Negative Lean Hi-Back – The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Through material blends we then manipulate the overall flex profile—from buttery to responsive
Quick-Adjust FLAD™ – Burton's tool-free forward lean adjustment.
Mounts directly to 2015 and newer Burton splitboards without any additional hardware needed.
To mount the Hitchhiker Binding to any other splitboard, you must purchase additional interface hardware from Voile USA, sold separately.
Crampon Compatability – The new Tesla T1 baseplate is only compatible with the Burton Crampon and Spark Ibex Crampon.
