The Arbor Coda Splitboard uses a slightly mellower rocker profile than Arbor's standard System Rocker for better traction on the skintrack. This board is a vertatile and surfy design that provides tremendous float and smooth turn initiation in any unconsolidated snow conditions. The Thunderhead tip profile provides superior directional stability in soft snow, and the Karakoram tip and tail clips are the best in the business at making this split ride like your regular board.
The System Rocker – The Rocker System combines a progressive parabolic arc rocker profile with a tri-radial Grip Tech sidecut design. Enjoy more natural and cleaner tracking turns with a high performance surfy ride.
Reclined Parabolic Rocker Profiling – The System utilizes rocker profiles created using the parobic arc, which progressively reduces the amount of rocker or camber toward the tip and tail of a snowboard, creating nice low profiles. On Arbor's System Rocker designs, this ensures that the outside contact points are close enough to the snow to engage when maximum performance is required - higher speeds, fully loaded turns, and bigger landings.
Flex: 7 – (1=Soft, 10=Stiff)
Thunderhead Tip – Big-mountain versatility and speed in the deepest snow.
Highland Core – Arbor's highest-end core, made from a blend of estate grown Poplar and Paulownia to provide the lightweight performance ideal for backcountry and powder.
Mixed Glassing – A triax over biax lay-up that's best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps and more.
360˚ Rails – Fully wrapped sidewall that eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.
Sintered Base – A higher molecular weight, sintered base that provides added durability and speed.
Bamboo Power Ply – The Power Ply works like an added layer of fiberglass. During construction, the natural wood or bamboo fibers are turned into a composite layer inside the board.
Karakoram Splitboard Clips – Splitboard clips optimize splitboard performance by firmly securing the splitboard halves together, eliminating slop in the seam.
