The Yes. Shifter 3D Snowboard is a park and rail slayer, built for riders who live to jib, press, and play all over the mountain. Its Jib Camber profile offers the perfect blend of stability and forgiveness, giving you confident pop without the hookiness. The Y3D base profile adds subtle 3D shaping in the nose and tail for smoother transitions and catch-free landings. Whether you're hitting rails, dialing in tricks, or lapping the park from open to close, the Shifter 3D is your go-to for creative freestyle expression.
Jib Camber – The Jib Camber profile features a combination of camber and flat zones, providing stability on the tips while maintaining the responsiveness of traditional camber. This design allows for controlled flexibility, making it easier to lock in on rails and jibs. The balanced mix of camber and flat areas ensures a perfect blend of control and playfulness, making it ideal for jibing or park riding.
Flex Rating – 4 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
True Twin – Symmetrically shaped with an identical nose and tail, ideal for freestyle riders and terrain park enthusiasts. A True Twin shape enables riders to ride both regular and switch stances with ease.
Multi-Radius Sidecut – A Multi-radius sidecut on a snowboard features a blend of multiple radii from tip to tail, creating an elliptical shape. This design offers several performance benefits: Consistency, Versatility, and Smoother Transitions.
Fluid Core – A lightweight wood core technology developed by YES. Snowboards, engineered to enhance flex, pop, and durability. This construction delivers a responsive and balanced ride across all terrains, making it ideal for riders seeking versatility and performance in various snow conditions.
Biax Glass Fiber Construction – Biaxial, or "Biax," fiberglass features fibers oriented in two directions—along the board’s length and width. This layout creates a well-balanced flex that offers a more forgiving, user-friendly ride. It boosts torsional flex, making turns and transitions feel smoother and more natural. Ideal for riders who value a playful, adaptable feel over aggressive performance.
Extruded – This material is formed by extrusion and is softer than sintered bases. At the speeds many riders take, this material is actually quicker than sintered bases when waxed correctly. It retains wax better because it's more porous and is easy to fix with a P-Tex stick if it gets scratched.
Y3D Base Profile – Y3D, is an innovative snowboard shaping technology that enhances performance in various conditions. Within the board’s contact points, Y3D improves ride quality regardless of conditions. Y3D divides the base into three flat surfaces on the tips at the contact points, similar to a spoon, with the center base width and side base uplift angle determining riding characteristics. Developed by snowboarders Halldor and Eiki, Y3D aims to optimize freestyle needs with smoother transitions, enhanced control, reduced edge catches, and better landings in various snow conditions.
