The Salomon Dancehaul Grom Snowboard packs a surprising amount of tech into a kid-sized ride, giving young shredders the tools to progress with confidence and have a blast doing it. With a wide, tapered directional shape for easy float, Rock Out Camber for pop and control, and a Radial Sidecut for smooth, stable turns, it's built just like the grown-up boards—only smaller and way more fun. It’s a playful, high-performance board that inspires kids to fall in love with the mountains one turn at a time.

Rock Out Camber – Flat between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response and a rocker on the tip/tail for pressability.

Tapered Directional – Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
Radial Sidecut – Radial is the classic sidecut for consistent response forward and switch.

Aspen Strong Core – CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush.
FSC Certified Woodcore
Popster – The core is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.

BA LD Fiberglass – Low-density fibers allow for lighter boards that keep their playful forgiving flex forever.

ABS Sidewalls – The molecular structure of ABS can be described as a concrete bar with rubber nuggets inside, combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption.

If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice. Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
