Yusaku Horii's pro model boots, the Deeluxe Yusaku 4 PF Snowboard Boots offer the everyday boarder a stiff yet forgiving boot that seeks both natural and man made features out at every turn. Deeluxe's Free flex construction, in combination with their D-Lug outsole, makes the Yusaku 4s extremely balanced and supportive underfoot, ideal for riders that never quite know where their run will take them.

Free Flex – Offers overlapping seam between the forefoot and shaft at the heel of the shell. It prevents the boot from expanding outward, guaranteeing an optimal flex and provides a stiff and sportive balance in the chassis.
Fit
Dupont® Surlyn Highback – The highback contributes to the durability and stability of the boot. Combined with additional reinforcements, the highback also aids in dictating its stiffness.
Liner
Performance Flex – The Performance Flex liner is designed to offer premium performance and optimal support. The highback provides stability while special L-shaped pads anchor the heel.
Lacing System
Powerstrap – By securing the calf in place, the Powerstrap adds additional support to a boot's lacing system.
C3 Lacing – Two separate lacing systems allow you to customize the fit and flex of the heel, forefoot, and shaft zones.
Traditional Lacing – Adjust the forefoot and shaft zone.
Sole
D-Lug – New for 17/18, patent pending, D-Lug outsole is designed to better cushion and cradle feet. Dual impact zones provide enhanced traction and absorb vibrations. To provide additional cushioning, the sole features independent lugs that work like suspension. The new outsole also acts as a frame that enhances the support and stability of the boot.

Waterproof Construction – Precise stitching and a sandwich construction ensure water can't penetrate the boot's shell.
TPS Shield – Available as an accessory, the TPS Shield strengthens a boot's tongue, providing a stiffer flex and additional support.

Stiff The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
