Product Info

The Burton Ambush Snowboard Boots are the solution to getting out of sticky situations on the mountain. A lightweight package that excels all over the mountain make these boots a true all-around winner. The Imprint™ 3 Liner keeps your feet comfortable from first to last chair, while a medium flex gives these boots a forgiving feel, while still maintaining their ability to shred huge lines. So if you're in need of an affordable boot that doesn't skimp out on performance, we highly suggest the Burton Ambush Snowboard Boots.

Product Details

Flex

Medium Flex PowerUP TongueFor greater rebound and durability, the majority of Burton's boots feature this dual density tongue construction. Like all Thin Profile 3D® Molded Tongues, it's available in one of three flex options based on the boot.

Wishbone Upper CuffThe Wishbone Cuff defies convention, combining power and freedom into one. Picking up where the Crossbone Cuff left off, it features Jumper Cables on both the medial and lateral sides for twice the snap, rebound, and life without sacrificing the high tweakability of a softer boot. Featured on the Ambush, Felix, and NEW Ambush Smalls.

Oversized Flex NotchesThese strategically placed notches minimize shell distortion and allow for a smoother, more fluid toe and heelward flex.

GripLITE BackstaySnugging up the fit between boot and hi-back, our new rubber print backstays also shave weight and enhance material-to-material grip. The result of this printed rubber application is more direct transfer from boot to binding to board for reduced rider fatigue.

Fit

Total Comfort ConstructionGet an instantly broken-in feel right out of the box. Total Comfort's industry-exclusive construction eliminates the break-in period for a fit that feels just as good from day 1 to 100.

Liner

Imprint 3 LinerFocus Cuff Heel Hold System with Velcro® J-Bar Interface and Inner Lace Lock // Plush Cuff 1.0 // Sock Lock // Rad Pad for lace comfort // Velcro® Liner Closure // Level 2 Molded EVA footbed with ESS Support Shank and Aegis™ Antimicrobial Coating // Heat-Moldable

Focus CuffBoosting heel-hold by hugging that sweet spot around your ankle, the Focus Cuff rides slightly higher on your ankle for increased response.

Rad PadThe pad is located on the top of your instep, right where the internal laces exert the most pressure, a Rad Pad has pre-curved panels for extra comfort, support and long-wear.

Plush Cuff 1.0The Plush Cuff 1.0 hugs your calf like no other thanks to a combination of medial and lateral neoprene stretch zones and super soft fur lining.

Sock LockThis directional fiber lining allows your feet to easily slide into place and stay in place from first chair to last call.

Lacing System

Speed Zone™ Lacing System for True Zonal Lacing ControlLightning fast lacing control. Customize the fit of the upper or lower zone in seconds, and because the system is so powerful, you get more rebound, more wrap, and better response - with less effort.

New England RopesAmerican-made, natural fiber ropes power Burton's Speed Zone™ systems. Virtually indestructible, New England Ropes' laces are the same stuff used by stunt men, firefighters, and rescue teams.

Footbed

Level 2 Molded EVA FootbedLightweight and long-lasting shock absorption.

B3 GelUltimate dampening formulated to withstand repeated impacts without breaking down or hardening up in cold temps.

Sleeping Bag Reflective FoilThis low-profile and lightweight underfoot technology reflects heat back to the feet, improving both warmth and comfort when faced with cold conditions.

Sole

DynoLite EST Optimized OutsoleSuperior cushioning, improved board feel, and consistent support in a 20% lighter weight construction. Made entirely of an exclusive cushioning compound specially formulated to withstand repeated impacts and freezing temps for long lasting shock absorption.

ESTEST® goes beyond bindings by optimizing the oles on select boots for a more direct connection. Lower-profile, lighter weight, and with a reduced ramp angle (more like a skate shoe and less like a running shoe), EST lowers your center of gravity and improves feel. All without sacrificing an ounce of cushioning thanks to ultra-dampening B3 Gel inserts.

Additional Features

Snow-Proof Internal GussetAll Burton boot tongues feature an internal gusset construction to completely seal the lower zone of the boot, keeping feet warm and dry.

Boots are nice, comfy, and very light. One of Burton's best boots. I used to own a Burton Moto, Ambush feels like another level.

Great pair of boots for the intermediate to advance rider. Lace system is sweet and very easy to use. Super comfortable and warm on a -40 degree day on Whiteface. It looks cool, too!

Comments about Burton Ambush Snowboard Boots 2015:

I like these boots a lot. I have a size 10.5 and were a 10.5 shoe and my toe hits the front but it is not uncomfortable.

I did notice after a day of sledding and boarding that my left foot was going to sleep, so I might need to back off the lacing a bit and perhaps get the liner conformed to my feet.
