The Jones Apollo Snowboard Bindings are premium freeride bindings built for riders who need maximum response in technical terrain. What sets these binders apart from all others on the market is the Carbon Flax Highback, which blends the ECO-performance of flax with the lightweight torsional stiffness of carbon. With NOW Skate Tech throughout, the Apollo is responsive to even the most minute movements. Set them up in Surf mode or rock them as freeride killers -- the Apollo is ready to go.

NOW Skate Tech – The components of the NOW Skate Tech design mimic the function of a skateboard truck. The "Hanger" acts as a lever that transfers energy input from the straps to the "Bushings" and onto the board edges.
Kingpin – Creates a fulcrum that magnifies edge to edge energy transfer through leverage. Made from stainless steel with 4mm allen key hardware.
Hanger 2.0 Nylon Reinforced with 30% Fiberglass – Creates a lever that pivots on the Kingpin. Transfers energy input from straps to bushings onto board edges. Baseless design allows for even board flex.
Swappable Bushings (Soft and Hard Bushings Included) – Jones bindings offer customizable dampening and response by switching between Surf Mode and Freeride Mode. Surf Mode lets you tweak harder, while Freeride Mode keeps you locked in for maximum response. Switch modes by changing the bushings from soft (Surf Mode) to hard (Freeride Mode) and adjusting the Flip-It ankle straps.

Medium The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
