Think of the Völkl Revolt 124 Skis as Confessions who haven't grown up yet. This is a huge ski that lives for powder days, but isn't able to push those park yearnings out of its head. If you are likely to ride or land switch on those 14" deep days, this is a ski you should seriously consider. A full twintip shape with moderate taper, carbon stringers and a damp woodcore make the Revolt 124 a super playful ski that lives for booter sessions and pillow pops to switch landings.

Rocker Type
Full Rocker – Völkl Full Rocker is a smooth, gradual bend from tip to tail, with matching sidecut and a symmetrical flex pattern. All the benefits of extra maneuverability in soft snow while delivering smooth, sexy arcs of groomed terrain. The matching flex and sidecut on the full rocker gives you full, uninterrupted edge contact. The more the ski is on edge the more effective that edge becomes, and the resulting smoothness and predictability is uncanny.

Moderate Taper – Moderate setup of tapered tips for an all mountain oriented combination of precision on piste and easy handling off piste.

Multi Layer Woodcore – The combination of beech and poplar results in an extremely durable wood core composed of hard wood in the binding area and lighter wood surrounding it.

Carbon Stringers – Additional band of carbon in the layup for direct transmission, agility and life.

Big Mountain Big mountain skis are designed for charging big lines with high speeds and big airs. These skis varry in width from wide, powder-oriented skis for skiing Alaska spines to narrower, mixed condition skis for ripping the beat up headwall at your local mountain. Rocker Rocker (also called reverse-camber) is just as it sounds – camber turned upside down. Rocker skis have a side profile with a smooth downward curvature and a contact point at the middle of the ski. Rocker skis excel in deep powder. This profile provides the skis with less tip and tail hang up to prevent from catching edges and allows the skis to initiate turns extremely quickly. This profile doesn’t perform as well in icy conditions or on harder snow but if you spend lots of time in deep, untracked snow and like a more playful ski, Rocker is a great choice.
