Julius Caesar is to this day considered one of the greatest military commanders in history, and the Faction Dictator 2.0 Skis were crafted with his ingenious tactical methods in mind. Built with a playful paulownia and poplar core, you'll find that this ski responds and rebounds with uncanny quickness. 95 mm at its waist, the Dictator 2.0 is the perfect "one ski quiver" width. We encourage you to conquer the mountain in a similar fashion to the infamous Roman politician with the Faction Dictator 2.0 Skis.
Rocker / Camber / Rocker – 360mm rocker in the tip, 3mm camber underfoot, and 200mm rocker in the tail.
Stiff Flex – 7/10 - Designed to provide bite and stability in steep terrain and variable snow.
Dual-Radius Sidecut – Borrowed from world cup race skis, two different radii on the one ski - a tighter radius forward of the boot center coupled with a 20% larger sidecut behind - lets Faction increase the edge-to-edge responsiveness so you can carve short turns whilst retaining high speed stability and control through the tail of the ski.
Transition Zone Technology – Faction's "Blended Transition Zones" use complex curve geometries where both positive/negative sidecut and where rocker/camber meet to make turn initiation fluid yet the whole ski more stable and controllable in all conditions.
Paulownia / Poplar Wood Core
Sandwich Construction – Used on most of Faction's skis. A traditional manufacturing method that provides strength, durability, good grip, and edge hold. Rubber is used to dampen vibration and bond the base layers to the core.
Die-Cut PTEX 3000 Base – Used on most Faction Skis. Sintered PTEX 3000 base material is more porous and holds wax well.
Brushed Topsheet
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
