If your ideal day out in the mountains involves poaching and pilfering, blasting and airing, or hooting and hollering, the K2 Pettitor Skis have your name all over 'em. These fatties, equipped with a 120 mm waist, ample taper in both the tip and tail, and a fluid-flexing full wood core are the ticket to fun-loving pow brapping with the boys. Party shred your way through those pillow stashes, step out some natural features, and generally turn the whole damn mountain into your playground. With the K2 Pettitor Skis strapped to your feet, you won't be disappointed.
Powder Rocker – High and long rise in the tip and tail to maximize float in softer snow.
Tapered Tip/Tail – A design feature that shifts the contact points with the snow towards the midsole of the ski, reducing deflection in the tip and easing turn release in the tail.
Powder Tip – Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.
Aspen – Lightweight with a resilient, damp, easy-to-ski nature.
Fir – Stiff, strong, dense wood for solid edge to edge performance.
Triaxial Braid – A K2-patented machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core for pronounced torsional strength, while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood ski.
TwinTech Sidewalls – A durable sidewall construction used on twin tip skis that makes the top sheet more to resistant to ski vs. ski impact damage.
Swap Base – K2 maximizes base material usage by alternating the contrasting die cut pieces - your base may be the reverse of what you see pictured.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

The Marker Griffon Ski Bindings are our top selling performance binding year after year. The reasons are obvious - excellent energy transmission, light weight compared to other bindings in its class, and solid durability have made the Griffon a fan favorite that finds its way onto more freeride skis than any other 12 to 14 DIN clamp. Marker's gliding AFD (anti-friction device) ensures consistent release with all types of ISO 5355 alpine soles and is less dependent on cleanliness or condition than stationary AFD's. The Inter Pivot Heel is time tested and offers excellent vertical elasticity as well as reliable release when you really need it. Step into the Griffon this season and find your own sweet spot.
AFD Gliding Plate – All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFT is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.
Triple Pivot Elite Toe Piece – With a horizontally oriented spring, it provides the highest energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. The secure purchase on the boot lug optimizes power transmission and allows for durable, high energy use. The performance to weight ratio of the Triple Pivot toe is truly unmatched in the industry.
Inter Pivot Heel – This industry-leading construction delivers superior holding power for all types of freeskiing. Its design focuses power in the direction of the boot sole, increasing elasticity. The overall design creates optimum power transmission.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
