Head Kore 93 Skis 2019

The perfect transitional ski for dedicated front side carvers who want to start exploring the terrain outside the boundary ropes, the Head Kore 93 Skis offer a versatile mid-width option in the light-but-powerful KORE range. Head's managed to shave weight in a number of ingenious ways, from the use of Graphene as a reinforcing agent to the Karuba wood core to the woven polyester topsheet, but this ski is no noodle (hint: it's a Head). Don't worry, the edge grip and stability you crave are still there, but the lure of the sidecountry will shine with a new luster on the Kore 93.

Rocker Type

Rocker / Camber / Rocker

Core

Karuba Light Wood CoreKaruba gives the Kore series skis their pop and personality. It's the perfect ratio of density and weight. The advantages of combining Karuba, Koroyd and Graphene enhance the ski, making it light and balanced.

Laminates

Topless TechHead uses a polyester fleece rather than solid plastic topsheet material to create the lightest skis in their category.

GrapheneThe strongest, lightest material known to man is fused into the Kore's tip and tail to make it lighter and more responsive in deep snow.

KoroydSuper strong, elastic and incredibly light, this honeycomb material is at the heart of the GKC ski construction.

Carbon Glass Fiber / Carbon

Sidewalls

Sandwich Cap ConstructionHead takes the basic framework from the world cup sandwich and place a cap that just wraps over the top edge of the sidewall to make the ski more suitable for all mountain skiing. Bomber construction with a rounded top edge makes for one incredible all-country ski.

Split Sidewalls

Base

Structured UHM C BaseThe same high quality material used in Head's world-leading race skis is used here. Different structured running base for all conditions.

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Marker Griffon Ski Bindings 2016

The Marker Griffon Ski Bindings are our top selling performance binding year after year. The reasons are obvious - excellent energy transmission, light weight compared to other bindings in its class, and solid durability have made the Griffon a fan favorite that finds its way onto more freeride skis than any other 12 to 14 DIN clamp. Marker's gliding AFD (anti-friction device) ensures consistent release with all types of ISO 5355 alpine soles and is less dependent on cleanliness or condition than stationary AFD's. The Inter Pivot Heel is time tested and offers excellent vertical elasticity as well as reliable release when you really need it. Step into the Griffon this season and find your own sweet spot.

Toe Piece

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFT is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Triple Pivot Elite Toe PieceWith a horizontally oriented spring, it provides the highest energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. The secure purchase on the boot lug optimizes power transmission and allows for durable, high energy use. The performance to weight ratio of the Triple Pivot toe is truly unmatched in the industry.

Heel Piece

Inter Pivot HeelThis industry-leading construction delivers superior holding power for all types of freeskiing. Its design focuses power in the direction of the boot sole, increasing elasticity. The overall design creates optimum power transmission.
