Elan has the design of balanced and playful freeride skis dialed, and you'll notice right away that no undue effort is require to turn or have fun on the Amphibio 84 Ti - it just goes.
Amphibio Profile – The Amphibio profile is a revolutionary ski design that integrates both rocker and camber profiles into dedicated left and right skis. Amphibio skis feature a cambered inside edge assuring precision, edge grip, and stability while a rockered outside edge provides forgiveness, turning ease and smooth transitions.
Amphibio 4D – Elan’s patented Amphibio 4D technology is the latest evolution in modern ski design. The 4D concept has traditionally flat structural layers in the ski strategically shaped in convex and concave forms in the tip and tail of the ski. This shaped structure concept, combined with the Amphibio profile provides unrivalled all mountain versatility, power and performance.
Power Wood Core – The Power Wood Core features a power-frame composed of poplar that is vertically connected to composite laminates, a structure that provides increased torsional stability and responsiveness. This composite construction delivers enhanced edge hold in the tip and tail areas and a uniform flex throughout the length of the ski.
Mono Ti – Uses a single layer of Titanal on top of the wood core for increased performance and responsiveness.
RST Sidewall Construction – The RST Sidewall Construction optimizes the transfer of power and energy from skier to the edge of the ski, providing maximum edge hold from the tip to the tail of the ski.

Improved for 2018 with a new Dual Core molding process that sandwiches a harder layer of plastic between two softer layers, the Lange RX 120 gets an even smoother and more progressive flex and improved comfort than before - not a small thing for a boot that had already seen years of success. An improved Dual 3D Pro liner features more aggressive contouring around the ankle and heel for unbelievable heel hold and superior control.

Bootfitter's Notes – The new Lange RX lasts are noticeably more relaxed in width and instep height than in years past - if you've had trouble fitting in a Lange performance boot before, you may find the new boots much more comfortable.

Dual Core Technology – A new "Power Injection" method allows Lange to inject two different durometers of plastic simultaneously through 5 injection ports, with the two plastics being directed to specific parts of the boot. The harder plastic goes to the heel, spine and lower shell to retain stiffness, while the softer plastic goes to areas that wrap the foot and lower leg for comfort.
