DPS Yvette 112 Foundation Skis - Women's 2019

The DPS Yvette F112 Foundation Skis are the one-quiver, do-everything ski for the fresh snow seeking skier that really can't be beat. And now, DPS's new Foundation construction makes it even more unstoppable. The Yvette F112 combines a rockered tip and tail to float in the pow and slash through the crud with an aggressive sidecut and slight camber underfoot so you can still carve up the groomers to your heart's content. And the new Foundation construction makes it dramatically more responsive thanks to a carefully layed-up combination of bamboo, poplar and carbon.

Sidecut

Paddle TechTapered, flatter sidecut section that blends at the contact points. It's the special ingredient that drives a uniquely smooth and intuitive sense of turn shape.

Shape

Chassis DesignIn ski design, there is a conventional hierarchy of variables that drive the end shape. DPS has re-prioritized and reorganized these drivers so that the design now starts directly under your foot and moves outward to the tip and tail, as opposed to overlaying flex patterns on pre-drawn shapes. The result is an optimized relationship between the flex pattern and sidecut that is perfected through testing, and then mathematically translated across every model in the lineup. The goal is to create a distinct DPS feel that can be sensed in every ski from the Cassiar 82 all the way to the Lotus 124.

Core

Foundation Core | Bi-Phase Bamboo + PoplarFoundation is a completely reimagined and rebuilt construction category that represents a futuristic approach to ski design. Every model in the Foundation series shares DPS Chassis DNA shaping that yields design and performance consistency from shape-to shape and length-to-length. Foundation employs the absolute best-in-class components from start-to-finish, with top-notch durability. On-snow feel is a wonderful blend of power and dampness that is readily accessible to a wide range of skier profiles.

Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings

As you develop as a skier, pushing harder and skiing faster, you find out that pre-release can be just as dangerous as failure to release. Performance, light weight, and reliability are what have made the Griffon evo's most popular alpine binding over the years and the new Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings maintain that tradition. The Griffon ID introduces a new AFD (Anti-Friction Device) with a greater adjustment range, meant to function equally well with either Alpine ISO 5355 or Touring ISO 9523 soles.

Toe Piece

Triple Pivot Elite ToeToe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.

AFD Gliding PlateAll Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.

Sole.IDMarker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).

Heel Piece

Inter Pivot HeelThe stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
