Take the all-mountain performance of the SOS, add some width and a lil' extra stiffness and you get the big mountain and powder hungry Coalition Abyss Skis. Camber underfoot, with tip and tail rocker set you up for easy turn initiation in or out of pow. And with its full birch core and multi radius sidecut, the Coalition Snow Abyss Skis are ready to rip their way through the day no matter how deep or chundery the snow gets.
All Mountain Rocker – A flexible hybrid shape that ensures equal performance on and off piste. Rocker in the tip and tail provides maximum float in soft snow, without compromising on-piste performance with camber underfoot. The rockered tip handles crud and bumps up front, and the tail rocker releases easily out of turns. This profile also means the skis ride shorter than a traditional profile, so make sure you factor in a few more centimeters when sizing.
Multi Radius Sidecut | 22m – Multi radius means the ski turns differently at different speeds and intensity of engagement. A longer sidecut in the tip and tail keeps the ski on the fall line, while a shorter turn radius underfoot gives the ski its carveability when engaged during a turn. The combination makes the ski stable and responsive at each moment of the turn, cutting down overturning and hookiness. This 22m radius is ideal for medium to long, arced GS type turns, and responds well to speed.
Full Birch Wood Core – Absorbs vibrations and provides a solid flex that will hold up at high speeds and through variable conditions.
Slanted Sandwich ABS Sidewalls – Torsional stiffness that gives the ski more pop and solid edge grip.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

The Marker Griffon Ski Bindings are our top selling performance binding year after year. The reasons are obvious - excellent energy transmission, light weight compared to other bindings in its class, and solid durability have made the Griffon a fan favorite that finds its way onto more freeride skis than any other 12 to 14 DIN clamp. Marker's gliding AFD (anti-friction device) ensures consistent release with all types of ISO 5355 alpine soles and is less dependent on cleanliness or condition than stationary AFD's. The Inter Pivot Heel is time tested and offers excellent vertical elasticity as well as reliable release when you really need it. Step into the Griffon this season and find your own sweet spot.
AFD Gliding Plate – All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFT is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.
Triple Pivot Elite Toe Piece – With a horizontally oriented spring, it provides the highest energy absorption to reduce the risk of early release. The secure purchase on the boot lug optimizes power transmission and allows for durable, high energy use. The performance to weight ratio of the Triple Pivot toe is truly unmatched in the industry.
Inter Pivot Heel – This industry-leading construction delivers superior holding power for all types of freeskiing. Its design focuses power in the direction of the boot sole, increasing elasticity. The overall design creates optimum power transmission.
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
