Blizzard Zero G 105 Skis 2022

The Blizzard Zero G 105 Skis are back. The cool carbon cats get a slight tweak this year, but the overall philosophy remains the same. They eat up vert like few other 105 waisted skis can, and rip downhill like few touring skis could dream of. As the most downhill oriented ski in a decidedly uphill oriented family, the Zero G 105's have earned a place in the hearts of adventurous freeriders everywhere. The unique combination of light, nimble, powerful, and decisive puts them in a Goldilocks zone that's oh so "just right." After all, what's the point of skinning all day if not to have as much fun as possible on the way back down?

Rocker Type

Rocker Camber RockerSki profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.

Core

Ultra-Lightweight Paulownia Woodcore

Laminates

Carbon Drive 2.0The integration of a 3D uni-directional carbon fiber frame with an ultra-lightweight paulownia woodcore construction allows Blizzard to reduce the weight in the ski while providing structure for performance. The carbon frame’s 3D geometry guarantees optimal flex and torsional rigidity. The result is a level of stability, edge grip and control unprecedented in the world of ski mountaineering.

Sidewalls

Sandwich Compound SidewallAll Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability.

Base

Sintered Graphite Base

Binding Compatibility

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Marker Kingpin 13 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings 2022

Combining the low weight and uphill prowess of a tech binding with the safety and confidence of a downhill binding, the Marker Kingpin 13 Alpine Touring Ski Bindings are still some of the best freeride touring bindings there are. This year, they've borrowed the two spring design from the Alpinist and M-Werks bindings to even further lower the weight and increase toe retention. They ski better than any pin bindings, and they're lighter than any frame or hybrid binding. There's a reason the Kingpin remains a favorite of hard charging backcountry types and working snow professionals everywhere.

Toe

Anti-Ice PadsElastomer pads under the toe springs help prevent snow and ice buildup.

Carbon Reinforced PinTech ToeTwin spring, with carbon fiber reinforced material for maximum stiffness and super light weight.

Heel

Kingpin HeelThe revolutionary heel construction for the Pin Technology bindings features wide sole contact points to deliver the kind of direct, lossless power transfer more frequently seen in alpine bindings. The KingPin heel is also many times safer than traditional Pin Technology bindings.

Vertical and Lateral Adjustable Release FunctionVertical and lateral individually adjustable release in the heel for improved release functionality.

XXL Power TransmitterExtra large power transmitters in the heel with reduced weight for minimum friction and maximum centering for the lateral movement of the heel.
