Black Crows Nocta Skis 2020
Considered by many insiders to be the best ski in the >120 mm class, the Black Crows Nocta Skis are one of the few examples of a full reverse camber wide ski that manages to carve a clean line and end up where you point it. Flotation is also unbeatable, and the Nocta enjoys remarkable composure at speed for a ski with no metal that hovers around 2000 grams (rather than 2400-2500 grams like some of the competition). Rocker Rocker (also called reverse-camber) is just as it sounds – camber turned upside down. Rocker skis have a side profile with a smooth downward curvature and a contact point at the middle of the ski. Rocker skis excel in deep powder. This profile provides the skis with less tip and tail hang up to prevent from catching edges and allows the skis to initiate turns extremely quickly. This profile doesn’t perform as well in icy conditions or on harder snow but if you spend lots of time in deep, untracked snow and like a more playful ski, Rocker is a great choice.

The Marker Jester 18 Pro ID Ski Bindings are what you need holding your boots to your skis. The Triple Pivot Elite 2 toe with the "roll bar" and the Inter-Pivot 2 heel are designed to let you take it to the absolute limit and live to tell the tale. New for this season is a height-adjustable sliding AFD that will accommodate all types of boot soles.

Toe Piece
Triple Pivot Elite 2 Toe – This toe construction allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.
AFD Gliding Plate – All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring.
Sole.ID – Marker Sole.ID allows Marker Authorized Retailers to adjust Sole ID equipped bindings to every type of adult ski boot sole, from ISO 5355 Alpine to ISO 9523 Touring, with a height adjustable gliding plate (AFD).

Inter-Pivot 2 Heel – The stunning heel construction delivers superior holding power for freeriding. The Inter Pivot Heel directs the power forces in the angle of elasticity improving the holding power and reducing pre-releases.
