Quietly confident, the reasonably-named Oakley Snow Shell 3L Pants just go about their job as a very capable lightweight outer layer with a minimum of BS. These come without "revolutionary NextLevel X-9000 Martian Membranes," and there are no unsubstantiated boasts about improving your blood pressure through magnets. These are solid snow shell pants, they're not going to change your life unless you're riding in shorts. But that's okay, you're not asking them to do more than that. They're regular-cut from a stretchy nylon fabric, with a 15K waterproof and breathable membrane. There are pockets for some things, and loops for a belt. They're pants. For snow. Isn't that refreshing?
