K2 Cortex 140 Zonal BOA Ski Boots 2026

The Lowdown

Amazing fit, feel, and performance from the Salomon S/Pro Supra Dual BOA 105 W Ski Boots! I've never had a more comfortable fit right out of the box as I got with these dual BOA ski boots. From the 4D liner to the adjustable dual boa system, this boot felt snug and secure over a variety of terrain without making my feet get cold, go numb, or fatigued like some other boot models have plagued me. I've owned numerous boots with BOA systems and can confidently say this was the most secure fit I've had on a boot with this system; other boots I've owned have lost tension over the course of my ski/ride day but this system stayed snug the whole day. It's truly the only ski boot I've owned that I wanted to keep wearing at the end of the day! Outside of comfort, I was thrilled with the performance of this boot. From off piste terrain to groomers to moguls, I felt powerful, stable, and supported over all my favorite terrain. Well done, Salomon!

Technical Details

Building off of the success of the S/Pro Supra line, the new Dual BOA 105 improves upon the S/Pro Supra BOA model with the addition of a second BOA dial for a snug fit and the ability to make finer-tuned adjustments. The second BOA system wraps evenly around the upper cuff to create a tighter fit and making adjustments on the fly was smoother than the traditional buckle system. While I was able to wear my straight out of the box, the tongue and liner as customizable and easy to mold if you need it. The Powerspine technology located on the back of the boot creates a strong forward flex in a variety of conditions and across terrains.

Ride Impressions

I had the pleasure of testing the Salomon S/Pro Supra Dual BOA 105 W in size 24/24.5 and was amazed at the fit and feel straight out of the box and would recommend staying true to sizing. There's a little wiggle room in the toe box to accommodate a thicker sock if you prefer, or if your foot runs wider, but I felt no need to liner mold my pair. My scope of boot testing is narrow relative to some of my colleagues, but I can confidently say this is the most comfortable and stable boot I've ever worn, so much so I didn't want to take off my boots at the end of the day (which I can't say for past ski boots I've worn)! This product absolutely shines in its fit thanks to the double BOA system - having the ability to fine tune adjustments led to more security and comfort, translating to feeling more confident and powerful in turns, jumps, and speeding down groomers! As someone who loves navigating moguls, trees, and other natural features featuring quicker turns, I found the ride of this boot to be my favorite yet. I think this boot is perfect for an intermediate to advanced skier who's looking for an everyday, all-mountain boot that navigates all the terrain obstacles their heart desires - from groomers, to moguls, to off piste exploring, this boot powers you through any challenge. This boot nails comfort, stability, and power performance.

Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)

Pros

Overall Comforte
Combination of the liner, shell, and BOA system created a perfect fit for someone with a standard foot shape.

Power/Performance
Boot construction creates stable ride which in turn translated to confident turning and controlled speed.

Easy On/Off
The shell and quick release BOA closures make these boots a breeze to get on and off.

Cons

Challenging to re-attach the releasing BOA cable on upper cuff
The mechanism used to lock in the upper cuff's BOA system can take some strength to stretch across/re-attach. Make sure the BOA coiler is released, loose, and the upper cuff is pressed down a bit to stretch the cable fully over to lock it down.

Wide Last
For someone with a narrow foot, the fit and feel in the toe box may be too roomy, which could create a sloppier fit/feel.

Who Are They For?

The Salomon S/Pro Supra Dual BOA 105 W boot is perfect for an intermediate to advanced skier who's looking for an everyday, all-mountain boot that navigates all the terrain obstacles their heart desires - from groomers, to moguls, to jumps, to off piste exploring, this boot powers you through any challenge. The forward flex of the boot allows you to hard charge groomers and powder in comfort and ease.

The Bottom Line

The Salomon S/Pro Supra Dual BOA 105 W builds off the success and performance wins of its past iterations with a new and improved double BOA system for maximized security and fit customization. The 4D liner, lightweight shell, and BOA system provide long lasting comfort straight out of the box with the ability to make personalized customizations to maximize your ride. The sturdy forward flex of the boot enhances power turning and steering, allowing you more control and confidence as you navigate groomers, moguls, or other natural features. Overall, this is a solid daily driver for an intermediate to advance skier who loves exploring all that the mountain has to offer! Well done, Salomon!
