C6 Durable Water Repellent (DWR) PFOA PFOS Free: Optimized, sustainable DWR technology that keeps water droplets in a rounder shape, allowing them to slide from the fabric.
Waterproof & Breathable Membrane:
DuPont™ Active-PET Membrane (25K Waterproofing / 20K Breathability): A polyester monolithic film that works on the principle of moisture movement through the membrane. Moisture is absorbed into the film layer on the inside face, transporting it through the film by water vapor diffusion, and finally, evaporation from the outside face of the fabric. This membrane's high permeability to moisture vapor allows rapid evaporation and evacuation of sweat moisture. The laminate allows this evaporation faster than the skin exudes moisture, making DuPont™ Active Layer Picture Organic's most technical, waterproof, breathable and sustainable layer for their high performances lines. This membrane is the most technical, eco-friendly, 100% recyclable membrane in the world, keeping the wearer dry up to a height of 7000 m, and offering protection from high winds and snow storms.
