Atomic Backland 85 Skis 2016

With the Atomic Backland 85 Skis, Atomic's "back" to doing what they do best - delivering a ski that's competitive in weight but stomps the downhill. There's no need to worry about being caught on a wimpy noodle of a ski in the crux of a sketchy descent with the Backland 85, it's ultralight Karuba wood core is reinforced with a carbon backbone to give it Chuck Norris-like power when it counts. At 1320 grams in the 170 length, the Backland 85 gives up a few grams to the lightest skis in its class, but eliminates the feeling of being "undergunned" in many variable conditions - well worth the tradeoff for most skiers.
