Baseplate:
Duraflex™ ST Stage 3 Baseplate: Duraflex™ blended nylon is specifically designed for cold temperatures offering unsurpassed levels of strength and longevity for high-performance response, comfortable dampening and a true board flex no matter what.
Dual Density Thermoformed EVA: Two separate bushing densities provide incredible dampening and true board flex, one supplying durability and the other providing comfort.
Highback:
Atlas Highbacks: Union's extremely comfortable, responsive and lightweight Atlas Highback is symmetrically designed with a tapered top section. The result is improved mobility and flex where you want it with support and durability where you need it.
Straps:
SonicFused Ankle Strap: Features a multi-layer composite strap core that is fused together to form a single, articulated strap. This minimization of stitching increases the straps durability and reduces weight. Additionally, it evenly distributes pressure across your boot improving comfort and lateral mobility.
Ultra Grip™ Toe Straps: Multiple position options. Made of a thermoplastic anti-slip material to keep you locked in and on point.
Buckles:
Magnesium Buckles: This high-tech process produces a material four-times the strength of aluminum with only half the weight. Plus, magnesium is easily recycled and remains the eighth most abundant material on the planet.
Additional Features:
3D Heelcup: Made of extremely durable extruded aluminium, designed to minimize toe drag while optimizing heel hold.
Canted Gas Pedals: Ideal for riders using a wider stance, Canted Gas Pedals on the binding's footbed supply extra leverage for ollie power. Canting also allows the ankle and knee joints to be aligned, alleviating pain.
Universal Disks: Compatible with any traditional 4x4 mounting system and 3-hole board patterns. Channel Compatible Discs are available separately from Union to fit Burton snowboards with The Channel.
