Working in harmony with the surfy feel of the MiniDisk baseplate, the Ultra's highback is made of Forged Carbon to provide an agile response, strength and leverage. With an extremely lightweight construction that is still durable and sturdy, the Union Ultra Bindings will boost the performance of your entire setup.

Baseplate:
Duraflex™ CB MD Baseplate: The Minidisc baseplate is designed to minimize dead spots between the binding-to-board contact area to a mere 5%. In translation, the minimized binding interface allows your board to flex naturally, boosting its performance and durability.
Vaporlite 2.0: This water resistant, durable material maintains it's superior dampening characteristics in cold temperatures, providing a cushioned ride that can't be matched.
Highback:
Forged Carbon Highback: Extraordinarily lightweight construction that's unmatched in strength and durability. Union's Forged Carbon Highback delivers peak performance with heelside response and control.
Straps:
SonicFused Ankle Strap: Features a multi-layer composite strap core that is fused together to form a single, articulated strap. This minimization of stitching increases the straps durability and reduces weight. Additionally, it evenly distributes pressure across your boot improving comfort and lateral mobility.
Ultra Grip™ Toe Straps: Multiple position options. Made of a thermoplastic anti-slip material to keep you locked in and on point.
Buckles:
Magnesium Buckles: This high-tech process produces a material four-times the strength of aluminum with only half the weight. Plus, magnesium is easily recycled and remains the eighth most abundant material on the planet.
Additional Features:
Minidisk: Compatible with 4x2 mounting patterns and The Channel from Burton. The Minimal Contact Footprint allows for even board flex.
