Nylon: Now with a redesigned plush that's more packable and lighter than previous versions, Black Diamond's Ascension skins feature proprietary woven nylon plush, which offers legendary climbing performance on steep skin tracks and in variable snow conditions. Longer, flatter fibers provide improved glide on lower-angle terrain. This material retains the ideal balance of suppleness and packability, while remaining stiff enough to manage on windy ridge tops or in stormy conditions.
Tip and Tail Attachments:
Adjustable Tip Loop: Black Diamond tip loops fit a wide range of ski tips and sizes and can easily be adjusted to swap back and forth between different skis in your quiver.
STS Tail Attachment: With 10cm of length adjustment, Black Diamond's tail straps are strong, reliable and specifically designed to have even stretch throughout. This ensures that you'll get a snug, secure fit, whether you use the first slot or the last.

Gold Label Glue: Through years of development and refinement, Gold Label glue has reached a formulation that allows it to perform in a wide range of temperatures, remaining sticky and durable season after season.
