Built from the ground up for Travis, these bindings feature a raw injected Stage 4 Duraflex CB Baseplate for premium response and comfort. The Canted Gas Pedals provide support for riders with a wide stance and extra leverage for edge control and ollie power. These bad boys also feature Union's new Asym S1 Highback for a seamless boot interface with lateral freedom for maximum personal tweakage. Baseplate:
Stage 4 Duraflex CB Baseplate: Raw, injected, pigment free Duraflex CB nylon provides increased base stiffness and durability. Backed with a Lifetime Warranty.
Vaporlite Bushings: This water resistant, durable material maintains it's superior dampening characteristics in cold temperatures, providing a cushioned ride that can't be matched.
Highback:
Asym S1 Highbacks: Streamlined design provides a seamless boot interface with lateral freedom for maximum tweakage. Extreamly responsive and durable.
Forward Lean Adjustment: Tool-free adjusters allow for on the fly, fine tuning of forward lean to suit the terrain in front of you.
Straps:
Genuine Leather Straps: Full grain leather ankle straps are highly durable and provide long lasting comfort. 3D Direct-Connect core evenly distributes pressure.
Multi-Positional Toe Straps: Either over the top of your boot or over the toes, Union toe straps include a wide range of boot size adjustment. Length can also be adjusted by changing positions under the baseplate.
Tool-Free Ankle and Toe Strap Adjustment: No screwdrivers needed here. Simply flip up the leaver, unscrew and fine-tune your fit.
Buckles:
Magnesium Buckles: This high-tech process produces a material four-times the strength of aluminum with only half the weight. Plus, magnesium is easily recycled and remains the eighth most abundant material on the planet.
Additional Features:
Canted Gas Pedals: Ideal for riders using a wider stance, Canted Gas Pedals on the binding's footbed supply extra leverage for ollie power. Canting also allows the ankle and knee joints to be aligned, alleviating pain.
Forged Toe Ramps: The all-new Forged Toe Ramps featured on the T.Rice deliver the ultimate heel-to-toe response and transfer of energy.
CNC Machined 3D Heelcup: Extruded aluminum comes out 100% pure and maintains it's true shape no matter how much wear and tear you inflict upon it - Strongest in the business.
Grade 8.8 Hardware: The most commonly used hardware is made from "mild steel" that has a property class of only 4.6. Considering how much stress a binding is under, Union uses only the strongest steel on ALL hardware.
3-Position Heelcup Adjustment: Minimize any toe or heel drag by dialing in your heelcups. Simply loosen heelcup screw and slide into correct position.
