The Ortovox Tour 32+7 ABS Airbag Pack could very well be the most versatile touring pack out there. Because you'd like to use one pack for as many situations as possible, Ortovox has created the M.A.S.S. Unit, which allows you to easily add or remove the ABS Airbag System from the Tour 32 depending on the pack application. Plus, as the name suggests, the 32+7 has a variable volume compartment that adds 7 liters of room to the pack by simply undoing a central zipper. Complemented by several ski and snowboard carry options, and all the bells and whistles for ski touring imaginable, The Ortovox Tour 32+7 ABS Airbag Pack has got you covered from inbounds pow days to longer distance ski tours. *M.A.S.S. Material:
Nylon 420D Ballshadow: The distinctive ripstop interlocking thread pattern and a PU coating for greater water resistance result in higher abrasion protection and tear strength. From a visual perspective, the relief-like surface structure has a very technical appearance. It is a design that doesn't compromise longevity.
Nylon 840D Ballistic: This strong yarn provides a great deal of abrasion protection and ensures longevity. This weave gives the fabric additional robustness and protects it from damage. Ideal for the ABS Series packs in areas which are expected to endure large applications of force.
Hypalon: Ortovox was one of the first companies to use hypalon in the construction of their packs. The material is now used anywhere that sharp, pointy things try to attack the backpack and backpacker alike. Hypalon is resistant to cold and virtually indestructible.

M.A.S.S. (Modular Airbag Safety System) Compatible: Ortovox made the ABS airbag system removable. The M.A.S.S. Unit weighs only 1300 g and can be inserted into any Ortovox airbag backpack in less than three minutes (sold separately).

Vario-Space (Variable Volume): Opening a central zipper adds more than 20% additional volume (7L), making the Tour ABS ideal even for longer ski tours.
Vent-O-Flex: The latest development of Ortovox's successful O-Flex Frame. The thin X-Alu frame distributes weight evenly between the hips and shoulders and relieves the back. Ventilation holes in the back interact with the lower and lateral flow channels to provide comfortable ventilation of the back, particularly during times of active exertion.

Polygiene Treated: Ortovox uses polygiene in their backpack carrying system to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria. The material is washed in a silver chloride solution, causing the silver ions to become permanently fixed in the fabric.
Warning: Wearing an airbag backpack is no guarantee of survival in an avalanche. Backcountry travelers are highly advised to educate themselves in snow stability assessment, route finding, and companion rescue and carry all of the conventional avalanche gear in addition to the airbag.

Used Cartridge: Spent cartridges may only be refilled by ABS®; after deployment you should return the empty cartridge to an authorized dealer or ABS® where you will receive a partial credit toward the purchase of a full cartridge. Activation handles should be replaced at the same time (activation unit, including cartridge and activation handle, is sold separately).
