Head P5 Snowboard Binding 2006

The Head P5 snowboard bindings bring together anatomy with the physics of sheer power transmission. The Powerframe is essentially a rigid cage from the mounting screws via the strap joints, up around the heelcup. This enables us to keep the baseplate itself flexible, as not to interfere with the dynamics of riding. The P5 is one of Head’s advanced bindings. With many of the same features as the P7 the P5 is another great stiff and light binding.

Other Features:
IMPORTANT: Not compatible with Burton boards
SIZES: S (< 7.5) M (7.5 - 10.5) L (> 10.5)
A neat little feature on the side: The screws are fixed to the Dimensional Disc with integrated washers. No more fumbling for lost screws in the snow...; DIMENSIONAL DISC for Perfect Centering- Freeflex insert rails on our higher-end boards already allow free stance adjustment, so it seemed logical to design a mounting disc to allow perfect centering of the binding as well. This is the essence of the HEAD Dimensional Concept: Get a board that exactly fits your boot length. Mount the binding exactly where you want it. Center your boot/binding exactly over the edges.
POWERFORK HIGHBACK- The unique design of HEAD highbacks features a padded flex zone at the very top of the highback for comfort. The main part of the highback is stiff as can be, using durable Zytel ® for instant response (Dual Powerfork).
AUTO-OPEN STRAPS- The straps are hinged on the sides, so when you step out, they come to lie outside of the binding. Simply step back in, without having to clear your straps out of the way first.
