Asym Twin: Back in the day, asymmetrical boards meant you had to choose between a regular or goofy-stance board. Not only was that a nightmare for retailers, it didn't suit anyone with a duck stance. The Asym Twin applies a tighter, deeper heelside radial sidecut compared to the toe. In effect, balancing out the body's natural tendency to over-turn the toe edge. Regular or goofy, it's still a true twin. Just flip it around.
Core:
2X Poplar Impact Blocks Core: The 2x Poplar/ Beech wood core mixes 2 species of ultra-durable Poplar. This dynamic combination core is very low-density, lightweight and durable so you have a lightweight board that is still durable, poppy and fun.
Laminates:
Triax: Triax laminate consists of fiberglass that is braided in three directions. Meaning it gives the snowboard an asymmetrical flex with lengthwise stiffness. For you, this delivers a snowboard that has tons of pitch when jumping.
Biax: Biax laminate consists of fiberglass that is braided in two directions. The fibers are braided vertically at 90 degrees. This ensures a torsional flex that is more evenly distributed throughout the snowboard. For you, this translates to a snowboard that is easy to handle and jib friendly.
Sidewalls:
ABS: Durable, flexible, infinitely reliable
Base:
Sintered 2000: Sintered bases are super fast. Polyethylene pellets are forced together under extremely high pressure. The result is a singular piece of connected pellets with tiny pores across the entire base. Sintered bases absorb hot wax really well.
