Marker Comp 14.0 Free (110mm Brake) Ski Bindings 2007

Marker Comp 14.0 Free Ski Bindings are designed for competitive or aggressive skiers, Marker’s Competition line provides a technologically superior binding that sets the standard in both skier protection and performance. Using feedback from the world’s best and most athletic skiers, Marker bindings are consistently improved for real world skiing conditions.

The Marker ski bindings Free models feature thin elastomer shock absorption pads that sit underneath the binding to provide lower stand-heights and to absorb high impact landings from huge hits. The Marker binding “Big Air Pad” is the ultimate interface for park, pipe and big mountain fat skis.

Other Features:
Biometric Programmed Upward Release- No other binding works like Biometric. During a backward-twisting fall the Biometric Channels unalign, immediately reducing the upward release force by 25% to 50%, depending on the skier’s settings.
Mechanically Operating Toe Cups- Marker’s unique Total Contact Design allows the toe cups and AFD to work together to respond to the complex dynamics of backward twisting or forward twisting combined-load falls. When the Mechanical Toe Cups open, the remaining binding force drops instantly, allowing the boot to exit the system immediately.
Integrated Stainless Steel Gliding AFD- Unlike plastic or Teflon™, the performance of Marker’s Integrated Stainless Steel Gliding AFD is virtually unaffected by dirty or worn boot soles, negative sliding friction, outdoor temperature variations, combined-load backward-twisting falls or the downward weight of the skier on the AFD.
EPS (Edge Pressure System)- Directing the energy out over the edge of the ski, EPS distributes the pressure to the ski in a more even force between the toe and heel. Comshock Piston- The Comshock Piston is designed to efficiently absorb short duration shocks. Energy transfer and performance are enhanced, allowing skiers to keep their weight balanced over the ski.
Twincam heel- The two-piece Twincam Heel is designed with a unique soft-entry feature, resulting in a quick and easy step-in system even in difficult snow conditions.
