K2 Shreditor 112 Skis 2015

If you love soft snow but can't always pick your days, the K2 Shreditor 112 Skis are your ticket to ride. Wide enough to handle any soft snow conditions with aplomb, but not too cumbersome to rock some hardpack, the Shreditor 112's are K2's most versatile quiver-of-one choice for the steep and deep aficionado who sometimes has to hang with the fam and shralp the blues. Many in the K2 extended family consider this their best ski and use it themselves on a daily basis.

Product Details

Rocker Type:
All-Terrain Rocker: Designed for all ability levels, All-Terrain Rocker adds versatility and ease in all snow conditions. This profile features an elevated tip and tail for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edgehold in firmer conditions.
Flex:
Medium Flex
Shape:
Freeride Baseline 2.0: Tapered Powder Tips with a blunt end maximize float but track well in firm untracked. Wide waist with low to medium camber preserves the surfy feel you want in pow and the responsive edge-to-edge performance you need on the groomed. The tail is blunt and tapered to maximize release and give a looser feel.
Powder Tip: Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.
Bi-Directional Taper: The tip is still wider but closer in width to the tail. This allows the ski to perform exceptionally well while skiing in the forward direction but the taper enables the skier to have similar switch arc for better and more consistent switch riding.
Core:
Fir and Aspen: Solid woods for solid performance Fir and Aspen
Laminates:
Triaxial Braid: Triaxial braiding consists of braiding fiberglass around a wood core to enhance torsional rigidity and add control. Developed in 1988 by K2 engineers, the patented triaxial braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled wood core. This unique method produces skis with great torsional strength while maintaining the lively flex patterns inherent in wood.
Sidewalls:
TwinTech Sidewall: A unique blend of sidewall and cap constructions for accuracy and power underfoot combined with lightness, chip resistance and smooth turn initiation
Base:
Swap Base: K2 maximizes base material usage by alternating the contrasting die cut pieces - your base may be the reverse of what you see pictured. Swap Base
Additional Features:
K2 Skin Grommets: Built in tip and tail attachments for K2 skins give you the lightest and cleanest skin system available.
Binding Compatibility:
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
