Rocker Type:
Extended Transition Rocker Camber Profile (EXRC): Longer transition area extending from the end of camber and into the low profile tip/tail enhancing the inherent characteristics of Never Summer's Original Rocker Camber Profile. Creates a more fluid edge transfer, increases glide and powder flotation in flat areas of the board. Improves edge hold when camber is engaged yet is more forgiving and less likely to catch an edge when in a neutral position.
Low Profile Tip / Tail: Maximizes material contact with the snow for more powerful ollie/nollie pop and added stability on landings. Reduces the plowing effect in the nose for better glide when the going gets deep.
Flex:
Flex Rating: 8 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff): Stiffer flex for aggressive freeriders
Shape:
Vario Power Grip Sidecut: This sidecut profile utilizes multiple radiuses to create extra contact points that enhance edge hold. Flat section in the rocker area allows the board to track straight when unweighted and provides a broad contact point when weighted. Shallow radius sidecut is found next to this section, providing the second and third contact points. Deep radius sidecut at the ends for quick turn initiation and make up the final contact points.
Core:
NS SuperLight Wood Core: Taking the Never Summer Flight Core to new heights, this core blends extremely light wood with durable hardwood for an unmatched strength to weight ratio.
Laminates:
STS Pretensioned Fiberglass: World's best snowboard fiberglass. Pre-hardened, pre-tensioned, layered laminate that has added elastomer stringers between the 0˚ and 90˚ glass fibers the length of the effective edge. Delivers a stronger bond between individual glass laminates, giving Never Summer boards unmatched strength, edge hold, and performance.
Bi-Lite Fiberglass: Ultra-light glass fiber matrix that combines many characteristics of STS fiberglass. Delivers incredible freestyle performance without sacrificing durability.
Elastomeric Underfoot Stabilizers: Elastomeric Rubber Stabilizers directly below the mounting area provide optimum vibraiton absorption and increase high speed stability while reducing foot fatigue.
RDS 1+ Damping System: Never Summer's most extensive damping system. Twice the amount of elastomeric rubber foil as RDS1 along the entire perimiter of the board for unmatched stability at speed. RDS 1+ provides incredible vibration absorption along the effective edge while stabilizing the nose of the board in variable terrain.
Harmonic Tip/Tail Dampener (HDT): Harmonic dampers in the tip and tail take out a high percentage of residual vibration by quieting the nose and tail. This enhances stability at speed, in variable snow conditions, and on board landings without deadening the liveliness and pop of the cambered areas.
Carbonium Laminate Technology: More carbon equals more power and performance. The new Carbonium Laminate Technology combines an advanced top and base carbon matrix to maximize torsional response and strength where it’s needed most. The result is a lightweight yet powerful design that will keep the Carbonium Series boards going strong for years.
Sidewalls:
Sintered P-Tex Sidewall: Incredibly durable sidewalls that maintain their integrity even at super cold temperatures.
Base:
Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 Base: Never Summer exclusive, super fast, durable sintered base specifically for the Carbonium Series. Just the right amount of graphite has been added, making this the fastest Never Summer base. EVER.

Edges:
Full Wrap Metal Edge: High quality steel protects the entire perimeter of the board in crucial areas of the tip and tail against impact.
Topsheet:
Carbonium Topsheet: Incredibly durable, scratch and chip resistant material with a high-tech fiber-like texture. Provides more grip than a gloss topsheet, working as a built-in stomp pad.
