Rocker Type:

Speed Rocker: This slightly elevated tip and increased tip length provides effortless initiation and flawless transitions, while camber along the rest of the running surface delivers precision, power, and edge-hold.

Core:

Wood Core: K2 uses a variety of wood cores for energy, rebound, and a liveliness only found in wood core skis. Their wood cores consist of a blend of different species of wood based on the desired flex and target performance of the ski.

Mod Technology: High-Performance Suspension System Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected. Mod Technology

Carbon Web: Enveloping the Mod structure with a carbon weave where the strands of carbon are laid at precise angles for an additional level of torsional rigidity on the secondary core. This keeps the ski light but gives you the additional torsional strength where you need it most.
