Dynastar Slicer Skis 2014

Handcrafted in the heart of the French Alps for skiers who are all about leaving the groomers behind for softer snow when conditions allow but are more than stoked to jib the park and other on-piste features, the Dynastar Slicer Skis will not disappoint. The Slicer's 98 mm waist and rockered tip and tail allow you to float over deeper snow forward or switch, so big 180's off cliffs are totally in the bag. When your secret pow stash gets poached and all the fresh is gone, don't fret: traditional camber underfoot and Spring Blade Technology are there to give you insanely responsive on-piste edge hold and pop for jibbing cat tracks and those pesky "Slow Ski Zone" signs. Shred on.

Rocker Type:
Twin Rocker: Long, progressive rockers in the tip and tail, with a more radical height. The load-bearing length is reduced to a minimum, giving the twin-tips exceptional pivot. The tip and tail of the skis are freed, so they pivot effortlessly in all types of snow. Flotation is easier, and even possible in switch. Ideal for powder skiing, especially in wooded terrain. Once back on the piste, the ski's natural camber and progressive rocker guarantee excellent All Mountain performance.
Flex:
Spring Blade: Spring Blade is a machined Wood Core of varying thickness and the layering of the different fiber layers with different lengths offer extraordinary flex. This gives the ski awesome energy for jumping (pop effect) and great shock absorption when landing. This technology, when combined with specific sidecuts, offers riders the ideal mix for freestyle in both park & pipe and also in the backcountry.
Core:

Laminates:
Wood Fiber Core Construction: Traditional sandwich technology with a wood and fiberglass core gives the ski enormous fluidity and responsiveness. The absence of titanal sheets reduces weight significantly. The straight sidewalls ensure precise, effective transmission of the skier's movements.
Binding Compatibility:
We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
