The Spark R&D Verts Snowshoes aren't really full snowshoes with the long tails and floppy bindings, they're more like platters with claws that attach directly to your Spark bindings. These are the perfect transitional tool when it gets too steep to skin but it's still too soft to use a real crampon. They're perfect for "front pointing" up in a few inches of fresh over soft crust or variable melting corn.
