Featuring a toe-side footbed riser on its top deck, the Jade allows for additional leverage when holding strong in the wake, and a quicker response time when initiating a toe-side carve. In addition, the base of the Jade features toe-side channel extensions which further enhances edging and control. The variable edge design transitions from a soft edge underfoot, to a sharp tip and tail, while the Subtle 3-Stage rocker allows for smooth carving and a large pop without any unwanted drag. These features are combined with four-removable fins that provide more control and allow you to grow as a rider, and as a bonus, once you have mastered the toe-side edge, the fins can be swapped out for a more traditional configuration allowing you to go from a beginner to a shredder all on the same board.

Subtle 3-Stage: The stepping-stone to the 3-Stage rocker style of ride. By utilizing a smaller flat spot between your feet, a Subtle 3-Stage rocker creates just enough vertical pop to let you know it's there, but not so much that you'll be left overwhelmed.

Satin Flex: Tailored specifically to the needs of smaller and lighter rider's, a softer glass layup creates a softer flex and a board built to female and youth rider standards.
Layered Glass: Over time traditional woven glass fiber will begin to seperate, but Hyperlite's layered glass ensures that its decks will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Rails/Edges:
Monocoque Construction: The top glass and bottom glass are integrated into one structure, generating a more durable board on side impact and thus preventing delamination.

Biolite 3 Core: Cooked up in the Hyperlite labs, this is the secret recipe that Hyperlite has continued to perfect from day one. The industry's gold standard core material starts with Bio 3 foam and then is wrapped in layered glass. This yields a core that is strong enough for the best athletes but also perfect for the first time rider, and it is lighter and more durable than any Bio core that has come before.
