Option Axis Snowboard 2006

So you really like the Mirror, but your feet are too big. Well don’t leave the store cryin’ because we want you on the Axis. The Axis was developed as the Mirror’s big twin brother. Everything is the same except the Axis is wider and meaner for the rising freestyle rider with a bigger boot size. You get all the same benefits in the Axis as the Mirror has, so you don’t have to compromise. This board is a skate-inspired freestyle machine. Intended for heavy park and pipe use however the Option riders ride it everywhere. The Axis works well for US men’s boot sizes 10.5 to 13.

Graphic Lowdown- Option worked with illustrator Derek Muscat to give life to a graphic that is as tough as the guys riding this wide board. Derek “etched” this Giger-esque graphic to achieve a tactile feel, complimenting the matte topsheet.

Aspen LT Core- The Aspen LT core is a proven design. This tip to tail wood core has been an essential ingredient in Option’s reputation for durability and quality. It incorporates a vertical sandwich of lightweight consistent Aspen laminations. Perfect for all riding styles.
Stone Ground Sintered 4000 Base- The highest molecular weight Polyethylene available is used in this durable, high wax absorption base for a high performance glide in all snow conditions.
