The once radical ON3P Billy Goat Skis, with their Reverse Elliptical Sidecut tips and traditional large radius sidecut tails, have become a classic. This highly esteemed all mountain freeride stick does it all, and does it well at speed. Its ample tip rocker and medium-stiff flex allow the Billy Goat to float easily in fresh and snap off quick turns at the user's will in tight trees or critical situations. Rocker Type:

Elliptical Rocker Profile: Rocker profile and tip shape are combined into one progressively changing elliptical arc, allowing the tips to plane faster in powder, deflect less in variable snow, and help the edge engage more naturally.

Flex:

Medium-stiff: An all mountain flex that provides stability at speed while still allowing ease of turning

Sidecut:

Reverse Elliptical Sidecut: Reverse Elliptical Sidecut (RES) is a large, convex elliptical arc that runs from boot center to tip taper. With no traditional sidecut in the tips, the skis resist hooking or catching in soft snow and give the skier the freedom to choose any turn shape they wish at any speed.

Dynamic Contact Zone: ON3P's Reverse Elliptical Sidecut (RES) tightens as it approaches the tips, creating a Dynamic contact Zone (DCZ) that, when on edge, creates a simulated turn radius with the traditional sidecut tail. This results in excellent edge hold on harder snow. The elliptical design maximizes the length of the contact zone when edging, comparable to that of a traditional sidecut ski.

Core:

Bamboo Core: ON3P skis use a vertically laminated, 100% bamboo core. Bamboo is a quick-growing, environmentally-friendly grass that provides a responsive but very damp feel when used as a ski core.

Laminates:

Unidirectional Carbon Stringer: Each ON3P ski incorporates unidirectional carbon around the core, adding pop, stiffness and dampness without significant weight increase.

Sidewalls:

UHMW Sidewalls: UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) Polyethylene has incredible impact resistance, a higher resistance to abrasion than steel, and resists cracking.

Base:

Durasurf 4001 Bases: Better glide and abrasion resistance than other sintered or extruded base material. ON3P uses base material that is 38% thicker than the industry standard for better durability.

Edges:

Rockwell 48C Steel Edges: ON3P uses 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm Rockwell 48C Hardness Steel edges for durability. Edges are applied in a 3/4 wrap, which allows the tip and tail to flex more naturally and decreases the risk of delamination.
