Since 1997 it was clear in our product line that we have been producing boards for different styles of riding. Fast carvers for a hips forward, deep fin, powerful style of riding. Hyperlite also started designing smoother, mellower types of boards. Relaxed cuts into the wake for a knees-bent crouched down style of riding. In the last 7 years they have had several other versions of this type of rail riding style relying on the profile of the board and not on primary fins for the edge hold. These series were just the beginning for what was to come.
