Forum Honeypot Snowboard 2012

Forum Honeypot Snowboard 2012: If you’re after getting the honey, then you better be fast enough to outrun the angry bees. With the 2012 Forum Honeypot snowboard that’ll be easy. The Forum Honeypot snowboard features the Combo Platter profile that has changed how Forum looks at board profiles. Combo Platter takes the benefits of camber and rocker, once thought to be mutually exclusive, and combines them into a powerful and forgiving freestyle machine.

Flex:
Flex Rating – 4 (1 Softest – 10 Stiffest)
Still can’t pop that backside 7? The Forum Honeypot will solve that problem for you. It’s got all the power and pop of a camber board loaded with the help of Grand Pops and Car Bomb Carbon Booms.
Construction and Core:
Gnar high-grade aspen. Lightweight, vertical wood laminates reduce overall board weight while still providing a responsive ride
Grainbelt technology adds critical strength under the bindings
Buttercup provides a loose, catch-free ride by lifting the contact points in the nose and tail off the snow, creating a mellow hull effect.
Shape:
Grand Pops: Building on the success of Pop Camber, Grand Pops features vastly exaggerated pop zones that dramatically increase the surface area just inside the contact points at the nose and tail. These aggressive pop zones create an even larger platform to ollie from. When combined with the stability of a lower camber height between the feet, they deliver bigger, more powerful ollies.
Car Bomb Carbon Booms are solid carbon space-frame inlays positioned where critical ollie power is generated. Running from just outside the feet to the nose and tail of the board, these precisely machined carbon structures act as springs providing direct response that increases ollie height.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base:
Biax, with a configuration to make any board smooth, forgiving and fun to ride, Biax is constructed with strands that criss-cross at a 90-degree angle
The FreeBase slick material waxes easy for speed, emphasizes die-cut graphics and protects the core from getting worked on run-outs through the parking lot
Swinger’s Club precisely shaved tip and tail of the wood core to save weight without sacrificing durability. This makes the board spin faster and float with less effort when the snow beckons.
