Flow Merc (Black) Snowboard 2012

Packed with enough punch to podium on the Dew Tour, the Flow Merc (Black) Snowboard is built for high performance and durability. Oh yeah, it’s super fun to ride too. The Merc has an EZ Dual-Transitional sidecut that creates a more forgiving ride and delivers snappy, powerful carving. A slightly directional shape and extruded Optix 2000 high density base allow for easy maintenance, less prep time, and more time out in the snow.

Flex:
Flex Rating – 3 (1 Stiffest – 5 Softest)
Catering to those who are looking to progress and have some fun at the same time, the Flow Merc is a perfect fit. A forgiving ride means more time on your feet and less on your bum.
Construction and Core:
TruFlex core technology features a high strength-to-weight wood construction utilizing different density Poplar woods uniquely profiled to give you excellent all-around response when riding the mountain.
Shape:
EZ-ROCK super mellow reverse camber is combined with a convex base for the railyard for easy riding without edge catching. This is combined with camber starting before the binding area, providing stability, easy presses and agility, no matter where you mount your bindings.
Directional Twin has the exact same shape of the nose and tail, but with setback inserts and a core profile for snap off the tail and a more forgiving noise in crud and pow.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base:
Optix 2000 high density, extruded base that is extremely easy to maintain and fix is one of the highest wax-absorbing bases on the market and will give you all the speed you need even if you don’t wax on a regular basis.
E2 Dual Transitional Sidecut designed around Flow’s rocker boards is mellow between the bindings and at the tips with a more aggressive grip in the binding areas. This creates a more forgiving ride when things get a bit bumpy, and a tight radius blended for quick, snappy, powerful carving.
