Flex:
Flex 5 (1 soft – 10 stiff scale) for a board that is soft enough for the mountain but stiff enough for the park.
Construction and Core:
The Forum Holy Moly core is constructed of 64% Sustainable Lightweight Wood (SLW) with beech inlays to enhance underfoot stability and give some spring to your ride. This specialty harvested wood grows four times faster than the standard evergreen and has a greater strength-to-weight ratio than normal trees used for boards.
Forum shaves the tip and tail of the wood core to save weight without sacrificing durability making for a board that spin faster and float easier.
Shape:
Combo Platter combines the pop, edge grip and stable landing platform of camber technology with the forgiving and playful ride of rocker technology. The camber and rocker combination is a unique and innovative new form of board construction giving you the pleasure of a more versatile board. Another unique trait of the Combo Platter is the incorporation of platters running along each edge beneath the rider’s heels and toes. These areas are lifted 2mm off the snow which makes the board have a less catchy feel while in the park but still maintains smooth grip and control when the board is put on edge. And to top it off: powerful nose and tail construction for big takeoffs and landing stompage.
Sidewalls, Edges and Base:
Buttercup technology provides for a loose, catch-free ride; it lifts the contact points in the nose and tail off the snow, creating a mellow hull effect.
The Holy Moly rocks a Really Fast pre-injected base with formulated wax deep in the sintered pores; this absorbs and retains the max amount of fluorocarbon waxes for a long life of charging ahead
Beveled edges, with 3-degree slant, give you the confidence to ride knowing there will be no kinks along the way.
