Flex Rating and Fit:
Flex Rating: 4 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) The articulating cuff allows the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently creating fluid forward motion, minimizing shell distortion, and maximizing heel hold and response. The Flex Spine Backstay offers effortless medial and lateral mobility with ample edge-to-edge support for when it’s time to throw down the landing gear. The Stay Puft Tongue lets you tuck that knee and tweak it with the smoother forward motion and cush comfort of the padded, progressive flexing upper tongue construction.
Construction:
270° cushioning gives you more cushioning with less weight. A 50% larger airbag covers approximately 75% of the midsole for unstoppable impact protection.
Liner and Lacing:
Traditional lacing combines with the Therm-ic Heat Pre-Wired Flex 2 Liner that is ready for heat! The Flex 2 Liner has a flex cuff heel hold system with TaiPanel™ technology, the new Rad Pad for lace comfort, a VELCRO® Brand Fastener liner closure, and is heat-moldable.
