Flex Rating and Fit:
Flex Rating: 7 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) Super light and resilient, S4 Shell panels help evenly distribute strap pressure to maximize rebound and resist breakdown for a flex that remains consistent season after season. The articulating cuff allows the upper and lower zones of the boot to flex independently creating fluid forward motion, minimizing shell distortion, and maximizing heel hold and response. The medium flex thin profile 3D molded tongue controls allow you to adjust the profile of the tongue’s thickness to control its flex, enhances its ability to wrap the forefoot, and reduce shell/liner stack-up for improved comfort, offered in soft, medium, and firm flexing options based on the ride of each boot. The power spine backstays fine-tune medial/lateral support, edge to edge response, and durability.
Construction:
The Burton SLX Snowboard Boots have a Level 3 Molded EVA Footbed that provides lightweight and long-lasting shock absorption. It also has an ESS Support Shank, Dual-Density Cushioning, and Aegis™ Antimicrobial Coating.
Liner and Lacing:
Speed Zone Lacing is lightning fast lacing control. Customize the fit of the upper or lower zone in seconds without forcing your friends to wait. Get more power, improved response, and increased wrap with less effort. The Therm-ic Heat Pre-Wired Imprint™ 5 Liner with InfiniFIT™ Liner Sole is pre-wired and ready for heat! Simply connect your super slim Basix battery packs (sold separately) and choose between three heat settings.
