K2 Lock Jaw Aluminum 2011: The all aluminum version of the K2 Lock Jaw Ski Poles uses 7075 lightweight stiff material. The patent pending Lock Jaw adjustment system allows for quick adjustments while you are making your way through the backcountry. The two poles can be used together to measure the slope angle with the built in inclinometer. The single pole can be used to measure snow depth quickly and easily.

The shaft is a high strength 7075 aircraft Aluminum seamless tubing shaft for a less expensive and durable alternative to composite.
Grip:
The Dual Density BackSide Grip has a soft lower flange for multiple grip positions and is constructed with TPR to maximize comfort and grip, whether wearing gloves or not. It has a purposely low profile so as not to impede probing when using the Snow Depth Ruler.
Strap:
The straps are padded and extra wide
