The Flex Spine™ 1.0 Backstay allows a lateral flex for maximum mobility, while providing ample edge-to-edge support when its time to throw down the landing gear. The Medium Flex Thin Profile 3D® Molded Tongue adjusts the profile of the tongue’s thickness to control its flex, enhancing its ability to wrap the forefoot and reducing shell/liner stack-up thus improving comfort and eliminating performance-robbing bulk.
