Sintered 4000 Carbon Speed Base - Sintered carbon bases are produced in the same way as standard sintered bases, but with carbon added to reduce surface friction when riding. Sintered carbon bases are awesome because they are black and because they are the choice of the world's top ski racers. I know, they're skiers, but they go faster than us - like it or not
Sidewall Construction - The bombproof engineering of CAPiTA sidewall boards guarantee power and stability through each turn while dominating every modern riding environment. Woodcores are "sandwiched" on the top and bottom by fiberglass, while ABS rails are placed at the sides. This configuration provides a smooth response, increased dampening, and a solid, confident feel while ripping down the mountain
DS Select Core - The DS Select core was built for the ultimate performance. Similar to the DS + EGO in every way, except built with only the finest vertically laminated strips available. Lightweight, with no irregularities or finger joints, the DS Select offers the most consistent, comfortable, and powerful ride possible
Special Blend + Carbon/Kevlar Laminate - The special blend + carbon configuration is an optimum blend of triaxial and biaxial pre-preg glass weaves. The triax is placed on the base side with carbon beams maximizing torsional rigidity and edge hold. The biaxial glass is situated on the top side of the boards construction and works in conjunction with the bottom glass to provide park perfect longitudinal and torsional flex. Stringers of Kevlar are added to increase overall snap and response
