Shape:
The Halo has a unique shape that tapers in, then out, then in and out again. Therefore, it has unique measurements: 96-113-83-102-87 (182cm), 95-112-82-101-86 (176cm), 94-111-81-100-85 (170cm) The EST Park Rocker is truly the next level - subtle rocker in the tips and tails with positive camber underfoot. This enhances carving while also disengaging the tip and tail to create a catch-free feel that’s ideal for buttering and nose and tail presses.
Flex:
A medium flex combines with the Double Zone core (two high density wood stringers that sit along ultralight wood) to create a light core with pop and solid edge hold, while keeping swing and overall weight down. Bi-axial fiberglass runs in an “x” pattern down the ski to control lateral flex. Uni-directional fiberglass controls flex along the length of the ski. And tri-axial fiberglass, with fibers running in three directions, beefs up the center of the ski.
Construction:
AR50 is ABS sidewall meets cap construction – the best of both worlds. This engineering method combines the lightweight cap construction in the tip and tail with ABS sidewall underfoot, resulting in enhanced and significantly lower swing and overall weight. Improved for 10/11, the new S7 base features a gliding additive for increased speed and longevity. The toughest base, you can find the S7 on any ski that’s looking for rails, ledges, and boxes as much as snow. A blend of Carbon/Kevlar stringers run along the tail of the skis with CK stringer to help stabilize it. This creates a better landing platform, especially when your weight is further back than intended. It also increases snap and adds pop to ollies
The 2.5 impact edge has an oversized height and width and the steel is heat-treated to a proprietary hardness which helps resist breaking and tearing out from rails, ledges and any other abuse it might meet.
Flex Rating:
Tip: 5, Waist: 7, Tail: 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)
Binding Compatibility:
Requires a binding brake width between 85mm and 95mm
