Flex rating: 6 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) The CAPiTA Mid Life Snowboard is a true twin, mid-wide freestyle board for the park destroyers featuring a slightly stiffer flex rating of 6 for riders who like some backbone.
Construction and Core:
The lightweight DS SELECT Core is constructed with the highest quality poplar and beech woods. Beech is placed along the rails enabling the rider to hold a solid edge while carving, eliminating chatter at high speeds, and contributing more power to ollies and landings; poplar strips are fused with the beech for flex consistency and absorption, all coming together for a consistent, comfortable, and powerful ride. The Custom Weave E Class configuration derived from marine standards saves the core some weight by increasing resin performance, while integrating dual carbon Kevlar reinforcements in the mid section for a more skate style feel.
Base:
The CAPiTA Mid Life Snowboard features a Wax Infused Rotation Sintered Speed base, created by compressing pellets of ultra-high-molecular-weight Polyethylene through heat and pressure to leave behind miniscule spaces for wax absorption for extended periods of high speed shredding, meaning your base feels freshly waxed throughout the day. Properly maintained, you can ride like the pros.
Sidewalls and Edges:
The CAPiTA Mid Life Snowboard features 360 degree steel edges, meaning stronger, more durable edges for a long-lasting ride that’s completely in your control.
