Flex rating: 7 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff) The CAPiTA Black Death Snowboard is a directional all mountain board with a flex rating of 7 for those boarders who love to annihilate the mountain with plenty of pop.
Construction and Core:
The P2 Superlight core is built for a high performance return of energy, bringing you razor sharp turns and huge ollies from the even mix of poplar and paulownia wood while reducing the weight from last year’s model by 20%. A Custom Weave fiberglass configuration borrowed from the marine industry yields stronger, stiffer qualities so the core can be lighter while still providing a higher energy return with added basalt wings from inserts to contact points for retained power and pop. The Flat Kick technology in the reverse camber tightens the profile radius for an ideal tempo and control in turns, allowing a shorter effective edge that’s still responsive and quick and, metallic screened PLT topsheet technology wraps up the whole package.
Base:
The CAPiTA Black Death Snowboard features a Wax Infused Rotation Sintered Speed base, created by compressing pellets of ultra-high-molecular-weight Polyethylene through heat and pressure to leave behind miniscule spaces for wax absorption for extended periods of high speed shredding, meaning your base feels freshly waxed throughout the day. Properly maintained, you can ride like the pros.
Sidewalls and Edges:
360 Degree Steel Edges make the edges beefy and durable, and Full ABS sidewalls brings that durability and strength to the whole board along with full length screened graphics
